The NicoStar 6 sandmatt has a 6th layer which is applied to the casing from the outside like a fiber layer and thus gives the finished end product its artisanal character. Another unique feature of the case is its controlled peeling ability, which is very popular at the service counter because small sausage slices can be portioned and peeled to fit precisely.
