Thanks to its above-average barrier properties, the NicoStar 7 is particularly suitable for products with very high minimum shelf-life requirements. These casings are therefore very popular in the pet food industry. In addition, the casing is ideal for autoclaving and sterilization. Furthermore, this specially designed casing can withstand temperatures of up to 121 °C.

The casing material is processed dry (ready to fill). Furthermore, no overfilling is necessary (nominal caliber = filling caliber).
